The God Culture: ChatGPT Says Rest: The Cast For Sabbath is Historically and Theologically Unreliable

Continuing with reviewing Timothy Jay Schwab's research via ChatGPT I now turn my attention to Rest: The Case for Sabbath. This is Tim's important theological statement which is all about how we are required to keep the seventh day sabbath and the Biblical feasts. I have previously written two articles examining this book which you can read here and here. The book is awful, to put it mildly.

But what happens when it is uploaded to ChatGPT for a detailed chapter-by-chapter analysis?

It gets an unfavorable review that agrees with mine. Below is the entire chat. Initially ChatGPT summarized chapters 12 through 18 so I asked it to review those chapters individually. It did so and incorporated them into its final summary. This review needs no commentary.

The God Culture: ChatGPT Says The Search For King Solomon's Treasure Sourcebook Is Unreliable

Continuing the analysis of Timothy Jay Schwab's research via A.I. it is now time to look at the Search for King Solomon's Treasure Sourcebook. Tim is very proud of this book because it has so many sources. He claims that it proves the validity and rigor of his research. But ChatGPT has a completely different take.

I uploaded both Solomon's Treasure and the Sourcebook into ChatGPT and asked for an analysis.

I have uploaded two PDFs. One is The search For King Solomon's Treasure and the other is the sourcebook for The Search for King Solomon's Treasure. Analyze the author's use of sources. Point out any and actual and possible errors. Assess the strength and quality of the research based on the sources used to support the research.

The first assessment was too short so I asked for a more expansive review.

Produce an extensive more in-depth analysis of the sourcebook and the main text. Assess the author's claims about the sources he uses and the methodology in his use of these sources.

I then asked ChatGPT to review the merits of the Sourcebook on its own.

Focusing only on the sourcebook analyze the sources as to their validity, soundness, and truth. Analyze the notes and comments the author has on his sources in the sourcebook and include them in the analysis of the sourcebook.

ChatGPT did not have a positive conclusion in its analysis. This judgement is important because these sources are a fundamental part of Tim's claims and he has likely uploaded them to ChatGPT and other A.I. chatbots to get confirmation of his research.

How is it that uploading raw data for A.I. to review gets negative results while Tim is getting positive reviews of that same data? I have already answered that. It depends on what he is uploading and what questions he is asking. Here is a screenshot of the chat.

The God Culture: ChatGPT Refutes Tim's Claims About The Qumran Community

Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God culture is currently running all his research through various A.I. chatbots in an attempt to make it appear as if all he teaches is legitimate, valid, sound, and true. The latest bit of research to get the treatment are his theories about the Dead Sea Scroll Community. According to Tim ChatGPT affirmed his Dead Sea Scroll Community research as "irrefutable."

"Conclusion
This Peer Review fully endorses the research without revision. The findings are logically soundhistorically accurate, and biblically supported. The misrepresentation of Qumran as an Essene monastery is one of the greatest academic deceptions of our time, and this research effectively dismantles that falsehoodwith irrefutable evidence.

Now, as I have explained before Tim is getting these favorable reviews solely due to the way he has framed his questions to ChatGPT and not because his research is actually irrefutable. This fact has been explained in several articles and I refer the read to them.

So, what happens when ChatGPT analyses Tim's Dead Sea Scroll Community research free of biased questioning? It get's an unfavorable review. That is at odds with Tim's claim here so of course the natural thing to do was to ask ChatGPT to compare both reviews and figure out why they are so different. It then concludes that the critical review is more reliable. The review is based on the information in Tim's books Enoch, 2 Esdras, Jubilees, and Apocrypha Vol. 1 and 2. The introduction of each book discusses Tim's Dead Sea Scroll Community research at length.

What follows is a screenshot of the entire chat. Take note that I asked ChatGPT no leading questions. I only asked it to analyze the data. Don't forget Tim says:

Who said TGC needs AI's to validate their research? Not TGC. Who said they are the "best authority?" Not TGC. They are computers or Large Language Modules capable of absorbing and assessing the logic and soundness of an position. That is all we are using them for and already a successful step in the right direction. We will continue to do so. Yah Bless.

ChatGPT has absorbed and assessed the logic and soundness of Tim's position without any leading prompts. The verdict is not favorable.
