The God Culture: 100 Lies About the Philippines: Lie #19 The Spanish Wanted Revenge for the Death of Magellan

Welcome back to 100 lies the God Culture teaches about the Philippines. Today's lie concerns the mission of Legazpi in the Philippines. Timothy Jay Schwab says Legazpi was out to get revenge for the natives killing of Magellan. As we shall see this is another of Tim's many lies.

As with every single lie The God Culture vomits the truth can be found if one simply reads the documents Tim claims to have read.

SATAN'S TRICK EXPOSED. Sto. Nino Is NOT Jesus. Prophetic Warning 5

5:15 "We stopped at an island where Magellan, Magellan's men were killed."

Where's that? That is Mactan, not Cebu. Get that? In other words Lapu-Lapu island that's where they are in this narrative. He then writes:

"We landed our men and disposed the artillery of the ships."

They were attacking Mactan in response to their killing Magellan before of course.

"Which were close to the houses of the town so that the firing of the artillery from the said ships in the arquebuses on land drove the enemy away but we were unable to capture any of them."

Imagine that.

"Because they had their fleet ready for the sea."

Smart Filipinos they were expecting this.

Oddly enough this fake history that the Spanish wanted revenge for the death of Magellan did not make it  into Tim's book The Search for Solomon's Treasure. You will not find it in any book anywhere because it did not happen.

According to Tim the purpose of Legazpi sailing to Cebu, and it is Cebu not Mactan as I proved in a previous article, was to get revenge for the killing of Magellan. The natives were even expecting such an attack. Of course this is all false. Let's read what really happened. Arriving in Cebu Legazpi sent several men ashore to reassure the natives that they came in peace and friendship.

They were to assure the people that I did not come to do them any harm, but on the contrary to show them every favor, and to cultivate their friendship. Three times this announcement was made to them, with all the signs and kind words possible to win their friendship. But at length - seeing that all our good intentions were of no avail, and that all the natives had put on their wooden corselets and rope armor and had armed themselves with their lances, shields, small cutlasses, and arrows; and that many plumes and varicolored headdresses were waving; and that help of men had come in praus from the outside, so that their number must be almost two thousand warriors; and considering that now was the time for us to make a settlement and effect a colony, and that the present port and location were exactly suited to our needs, and that it was useless for us to wait any longer; and seeing that there was no hope for peace, and that they did not wish it, although we had offered it - the master-of-camp said to the natives through an interpreter: "Since you do not desire our friendship, and will not receive us peacefully, but are anxious for war, wait until we have landed; and look to it that you act as men, and defend yourselves from us, and guard your houses."

The Indians answered boldly: "Be it so! Come on! We await you here." And thereupon they broke out into loud cries, covering themselves with their shields and brandishing their lances. Then they returned to the place whence they had set out, hurling their lances by divisions of threes at the boat, and returning again to their station, going and coming as in a game of cafias." Our men got ready and left the ships in boats; and as the boats left the ships for the shore, in accordance with the order given them, some shots were fired from the ships upon the multitude of praus anchored near a promontory, as well as at the landsmen upon shore, and upon the town. But, although they had showed so great a desire for war, when they heard the artillery and saw its effects, they abandoned their village without waiting for battle, and fled through the large, beautiful, and fertile open fields that are to be seen in this region.

The Philippine Islands, Vol 2, pgs 212- 214

After the battle ended the Santo Niño was found by a soldier rifling through houses. A Mass was said and then Legazpi once again assured the natives that they came in friendship in the name of the King of Castille and he pardoned them for the death of Magellan.

" After the mass and the sermon, the general went to treat with the king for friendship, telling him that we came thither for the King of Castilla, whose land this was, who had sent other people here before, and that they had been killed - as, for instance, Magallanes (and when Magallanes was mentioned, the king was much disturbed); but that he pardoned everything, on condition that you be his friends."

The Philippine Islands, Vol 2, pgs 128

That statement is an extract from documents not included in full in the Philippine Islands series but is part of a synopsis of documents which can be found in Spanish. The editors tell us:

[The following synopsis is made from documents published in Col. doc. ined. Ultramar, tomos ii and iii, entitled De las Islas Filipinas. Concerning these documents the following interesting statements are taken from the editorial matter in tomo ii.

The Philippine Islands, Vol 2, pgs 77

The original Spanish text can be found on page 424 of Colección de documentos inéditos de ultramar.

Colección de documentos inéditos de ultramar

That means there is much more to this story than is to be found in this massive set of books known as The Philippine Islands or on shoddy websites like ancientphilippines.blogspot.com. Don't forget Tim acknowledges that blog as a major source for his fake history.

The Lequios of Luzon: Key to Finding Ophir and Chryse. Clue #52

21:19 For a while now we have used definition for the Hebrew for this word from ancient Philippines blogspot. We, in the beginning in fact, we tried to quote local sources and you'll see in the description box we mentioned those guys. We also mentioned Bob's blog as well. It's all there. It's been there for three years. We've always, you know, given them some credit and those are worth reading because really that's where we started with the history portion. We started reading their stuff and then we started branching out from there. Yes, we verified everything that we could and if there was something that we couldn't verify such as the gold found in first century Egypt as easily we took it from numerous sources so we felt pretty good with it and went with it and turns out it's proving to be fine as a reference. So far our sources by the way check out to be very good.

Actually his sources check out to be not very good at all. Timothy Jay Schwab knows nothing of the real history of the Spanish in the Philippines because he is such a poor researcher that not only has he not read the books he cites but he has not even looked for the information that is more important such as that contained in the Spanish archives.

The God Culture: 100 Lies About the Philippines: Lie #18 Filipinos Rejected the Santo Niño

Welcome back to 100 lies the God Culture teaches about the Philippines. Today's lie concerns the Santo Niño which Magellan gifted to the natives of Cebu. Timothy Jay Schwab says after Magellan was killed they rejected that statue. As we shall see this is another of Tim's many lies.

This is another lie that is easily disproved if one reads the sources rather than cherrypick them for quotes. Magellan gave the King of Cebu the Santo Niño. Tim says when Magellan was killed Lapulapu took the statue as a trophy of war to Mactan and it was never worshipped.

SATAN'S TRICK EXPOSED. Sto. Nino Is NOT Jesus. Prophetic Warning 5

4:04 Now, what happened to this Santo Nino child after that? Well, they record it. Cebu didn't even keep it. It turns out according to the letter from the royal officials, that's people like Legaspi and all of the the different captains and generals and whatever titles of the Philippines, so, the Spanish royal officials that is, riding from Cebu in 1565, this is their actual letter translated into English as published in the encyclopedia series called the Philippines, uh the Philippine Islands, this is volume 2 number 55. About as credible and widely published as a history can get in fact and by the way so is Pigafetta's journal we which we used before it sits in the British Museum, the Italian Museum, and Yale University to this day. This is real history. Your textbook? Not so much. Now, let's read their actual words here.

"We stopped at an island where Magellan, Magellan's men were killed."

"They abandoned their houses and we found in them nothing," hear that? "Nothing except an image of the Child Jesus and two culverins one of iron and one of bronze." Hmm. "Which can be of no service to us. It is believed that they were brought here at the time of Magellan."

This is the Santo Nino. Did you get this? The Santo Nino that Magellan brought the same one that is enshrined in the bulletproof glass paraded around on Santo Nino day as Jesus. It was not found in Cebu so Cebu shouldn't even be keeping this festival. And the other people were not worshiping it. Cebu was not worshiping it. It wasn't there. It was found with Lapu-Lapu's people on Mactan, you know the ones who rejected first and killed Magellan. It was likely given to Lapu-Lapu as a sort of trophy for his role which inspired the king of Cebu to follow and kill Barbosa and the other leaders. It was not being worshipped and what a statement. Everything was removed from these houses, got that? Everything except this Santo Nino and two other gifts that Magellan had given and not to Mactan and Lapu-Lapu, no, these are gifts Magellan gave to the king of Cebu and the Queen. The king of Cebu and his people rejected Catholicism. They did not worship this statue. Yeah there was a three week or so period but that was it. In the end they rejected and Lapu-Lapu people most certainly did not worship it.

In fact even here 40 years later they left it sitting there with just to culverins that's it nothing else. This was a statement saying this is not ours you can have it back. If they worshipped it or if it had any value they would have taken it with them. After all, the Spanish would not have even expected to find a statue among the inhabitants of Mactan of all places as they are the ones who rebelled first. Nothing in the narrative fits what we're being told.

Tim says the same thing in his book The Search for King Solomon's Treasure.

Solomon's Gold, pg. 257

Not only was this a wholesale repudiation of Magellan, Barbosa and everything European including their religion and their King, but when the Spanish returned to Mactan forty years later in 1565, Filipinos there were not worshipping the Santo Niño idol left behind.

“We stopped at an island where Magallanes’s men were killed...”
As we have just said, they declared that not only they would not give us anything, but that they were willing to fight us. Thus we were forced to accept the challenge. We landed our men and disposed the artillery of the ships, which were close to the houses of the town, so that the firing of the artillery from the said ships and the arquebuses on land drove the enemy away; but we were unable to capture any of them, because they had their fleet ready for the sea. They abandoned their houses, and we found in them nothing except an image of the child Jesus, and two culverins, one of iron and one of bronze, which can be of no service to us; it is believed that they were brought here at the time of Magallanes.”

–Letter from Royal Officials of Filipinas from Cubu, 1665

The inhabitants of Mactan took everything from their houses of value and fled except very minor items. All that remained from their houses was two culverins and the Santo Nino idol left by Magellan in Cebu. He did not leave this idol in Mactan. Perhaps Lapu Lapu secured it from the King of Zubu as a trophy of sort. However, there is zero evidence this statue was worshipped that entire time between 1521 and 1565 in Mactan. In fact, the people of Mactan were sending a message in leaving behind practically only this one thing. They did not worship it and stating “we think you left something when you were here last.”

This letter is in a book of other documents about the same events. It is a brief description of the Spaniards landing in Cebu and finding the Santo Niño. From the very book Tim quotes, The Philippine Islands, 1493-1803, Volume II, 1521-1569, we read the following:

The fleet set sail for Cebú, where after landing they found the village deserted. Legazpi ordered that each mess of four soldiers should take one house and the rest of the houses be destroyed. Everything was removed from the houses before any were destroyed. The general ordered that a thick set palisade of stakes be built, including therein a few wells of fresh water. "This village was built in triangular shape, with two water-fronts and one land side." The artillery was placed to defend the coast, while the Spaniards relied on the palisade for protection on the land side, until the fort could be built. Companies were sent out to scour the country for food, and "always brought back fowl, hogs, rice, and other things … and some good gold." The natives to the number of one hundred came to make peace one day. "In this town when we entered we found therein a child Jesus. A sailor named Mermeo found it. It was in a wretched little house, and was covered with a white cloth in its cradle, and its little bonnet quite in order. The tip of its nose was rubbed off somewhat, and the skin was coming off the face. The friars took it and carried it in procession on a feast day, from the house where it was found to the church that they had built."

http://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/13280/pg13280.html

Mactan is RIGHT NEXT TO CEBU. It would not be surprising if these new arrivals mixed up Mactan and Cebu. In fact Legazpi makes this same conflation in this very volume.

https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/13280/pg13280.html

in that part where the men of Magallanes were killed, called the island of Cubu

In fact Legazpi is even more direct in his letters about this Child Jesus being found in Cebu.

From this village of Cubu, I have despatched the ship with the father prior [Urdaneta] and my grandson, Phelipe de Zauzedo, with a long relation of the things which I boldly write here to your excellency. They will inform his majesty at length, as persons who have been eyewitnesses of all especially of what has taken place here, the state of the new settlement, and the arrangements made for everything.

And because it is worth knowing, and so that your excellency may understand that God, our Lord, has waited in this same place, and that he will be served, and that pending the beginning of the extension of his holy faith and most glorious name, he has accomplished most miraculous things in this western region, your excellency should know that on the day when we entered this village one of the soldiers went into a large and well-built house of an Indian, where he found an image of the child Jesus (whose most holy name I pray may be universally worshiped). This was kept in its cradle, all gilded, just as it was brought from España; and only the little cross which is generally placed upon the globe in his hand was lacking. This image was well kept in that house, and many flowers were found before it, no one knows for what object or purpose. The soldier bowed before it with all reverence and wonder, and brought the image to the place where the other soldiers were. I pray the holy name of this image which we have found here, to help us and to grant us victory, in order that these lost people who are ignorant of the precious and rich treasure which was in their possession, may come to a knowledge of him.

The Philippine Islands, Vol 2, pgs 214- 216

He is also wrong that the natives did not worship the Santo Niño. They admitted they did so. Antonio Morga writes the following about Legazpi's mission to the Philippines and the finding of the Santo Niño.

He continued his voyage until reaching the island of Sebu, where he anchored, induced by the convenience of a good port and by the nature of the land. At first he was received peacefully by the natives and by their chief Tupas; but later they tried to kill him and his companions, for the Spaniards having seized their provisions, the natives took up arms against the latter; but the opposite to their expectations occurred, for the Spaniards conquered and subdued them. Seeing what had happened in Sebu, the natives of other neighboring islands came peacefully before the adelantado, rendered him homage, and supplied his camp with a few provisions. The first of the Spanish settlements was made in that port, and was called the city of Sanctisimo Nombre de Jesus [Most holy name of Jesus], because a carved image of Jesus had been found in one of the houses of the natives when the Spaniards conquered the latter, which was believed to have been left there by the fleet of Magallanes. The natives held the image in great reverence, and it wrought miracles for them in times of need. The Spaniards placed it in the monastery of St. Augustine, in that city.

History of the Philippines, Antonio Morga

It is simply not true that the Santo Niño was not found in Cebu or that it was not worshipped. To this day its finding in Cebu is celebrated every year by devotees and the people continue to pray to it for miracles. Timothy Jay Schwab's claim to the contrary is another lie he teaches about the history of the Philippines.

The God Culture: 100 Lies About the Philippines: Lie #17: Filipinos Are Described as Big, Bearded White Men

Welcome back to 100 lies The God Culture teaches about the Philippines. Once more the subject is the Lequios Islands. Timothy Jay Schwab claims that the Leqouis Islands is the Philippines and that in an old Spanish document they are described as big, bearded white men. As we shall see it is another lie.

In Solomon's gold Part 6 Tim says:

Solomon's Gold Series - Part 6: Little Known History of Ophir. Philippines History

9:12 According to Colleccion General de Documentos Relativos Islas Filipinas, you might need to correct our Spanish there, document number 98 the Lucoes were big, bearded, and white men. they were only interested in gold and silver when trading at ophir. General Legazpi wrote, "the ships of the Lucoes were always laden with gold and silver," thus targets of the Spanish.

These are big, bearded white men the Phoenicians. In other words Hiram King of Tyre which was part of Phoenicia whom King Solomon hired to sail to Ophir to get gold and other resources. So if these distinctive looking men came to your land, might you remember them? Yep? Might you name an island after them and their trade? Perhaps. They are the Lucoes in which Luzon is named because that was the capital of Ophir where the Lucoes lived and traded. Yet another tie to the story of Solomon, the Queen of Sheba, Ophir, and Tarshish. .Imagine that.

In his book The Search for King Solomon's Treasure Tim says the same thing.

Solomon's Treasure, pg. 163

Collecion General de Documentos Relativos a las Islas Filipinas, Document #98 mentions the Lequios were “big, bearded, and white men.” They traded “gold and silver.”

This appears to throw a wrench into this entire narrative in history perhaps. How could Filipinos be big, bearded, white men? That is not a description of the Japanese either. This is an ancient residual reference to Solomon’s navy of which the Spanish have all but wiped so much history that would likely confirm this even further. However, we have enough to prove this thoroughly and that will suffice.

The problem is that such a description is never given in the document to which Tim is referring. Here is a translation of that section which is at the end of the document.

In front of this said China and its lands are many islands to the sea and beyond these islands is a very large land that They say that it is terra firme, other islands where three or four junks of white people, who are very large and very rich, came to Malac every year. They bring a lot of gold in rods and silver and silk and a lot of very good wheat and very beautiful porcelain and other merchandise and they carry a lot of pepper and all the other things that the Chinese sayings carry to those who are called lequios, those from Malac say that they are better people than older merchants and richer and more dressed and honored than the Chinese whose people until now We have no news because they never came to Malac after the Portuguese went there.

Not a word about beards. The Spanish word "barba" does not show up in the text. Why is that? According to Chinese sources it's because the Lequios plucked out their beards. They also are described as having deep eyes and long noses. Filipinos do not have long noses. They are also said to observe no hierarchy which is unlike Philippine society which is ruled by elders.
"The country of Liuqiu is situated amidst islands in the sea, in a location that should be east of Jian'an County, to which one may arrive with five days' travel by water. The land has many caves. Its king's clan name is Huansi, and his given name is Keladou; it is not known how many generations have passed since he and his have come to possess the country. The people of that land call him Kelaoyang, and for his wife, [they] say Duobatu. His place of residence they call Boluotan Grotto, with threefold moats and fences; the perimeter has flowing water, trees and briars as barriers. As for the domicile of the king, it is sixteen rooms large, and engraved with carvings of birds and beasts. There are many Doulou trees, which resemble the orange but with foliage that is dense. The country has four or five chiefs, who unite several villages under their rule; the villages have [their own] little kings."

"The people have deep eyes and long noses, seeming to be rather akin to the Hu, and also having petty cleverness. There is no observance of hierarchy of ruler and minister nor the rite of prostrating oneself with one's palms pressed together. Fathers and children sleep together in the same bed. The men pluck out their whiskers and beards, and any place on their bodies where they happen to have hair, they will also remove it. The adult women use ink to tattoo their hands in the design of insects and serpents. As for marriage, they use wine, delicacies, pearls and shells to arrange a betrothal; if a man and a woman have found pleasure in each other, then they get married."
This designation of the country of Liuqiu is where the word Lequios originates. It is a place amidst islands to the east of China. The description here is of the Ryukyu Islands and Formosa not the Philippines. The Philippines is not even in front of China it is to the southeast of China.

The fact is Tim did not even bother to read this document. His source for this false information is ancientphilippines.blogspot.com.

http://ancientphilippines.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-lost-tribe-of-israel-is-found.html

According to Documents 98, the Lequios were big, bearded, and white men. They were only interested in gold and silver when trading at Ophir. Okinawans, Koreans, and Vietnamese people are not big nor are they white. Their beards are just small goatees and could not satisfy the word "bearded". Therefore they were not the Lequios. So who could the Lequios be but the remnants of Hebrews and Phoenicians who have made some enclaves along the Southeast Asian shores?

If you pay attention to Tim's videos you will see that Tim lifts a huge amount of his so-called research directly from ancientphilippines.blogspot.com He is on record admitting this.

That admission is absolutely amazing. Tim started his journey by quoting "local sources!?" What does that even mean? A Philippine blog? Why not start with proven academic sources? Because Tim hates academia. Then he says he tried to verify most of what he read online but if he couldn't verify it he went with it anyway because multiple sources said the same thing! That is not a proper method for doing historical research at all and shows what a total fool this man is. All the errors from those sources he never verified have ended up in his book. Errors such as Documento 98 describing the Lequios as bearded.

But let's investigate this Spanish document a little further. Not only are the Lequios people described as being white but so are the Chinese.

The visitors of this land of China are men of good stature and white and well disposed and also the women have very small eyes

pg. 136

Are the Chinese actually Phoenicians? Of course not. Document 98 follows the exact same route as in Duarte Barbosa's book. He describes the Chinese in the same way.

The inhabitants of this land be great merchants they are white men, and well built. Both men and women have small eyes, in their beards they have three or four hairs and no more, as a sign of gentility, and the smaller their eyes are the more repute they have as well-bred men.

Duarte Barbosa, Vol. 2, pg. 213

He also describes the people of Solor, which is the Sulu archipelago as being almost white.

And passing these Maluquo Islands northwards towards China there is another very large island well furnished with food which they call Solor. Its inhabitants are almost white, Heathen with good figures.

Duarte Barbosa, Vol. 2, pg. 206

He even describes the inhabitants of Celebes as being white.

Having passed the said Isles of Maluco certain other islands are found towards the west, whence come at times certain white folk, bare from the waist up, yet they have garments woven from something like straw, wherewith they cover their private parts. They speak a tongue of their own. Their boats are badly built, and therein they come to take loads of cloves in these islands, also copper, Cambaya cloths and tin, and they take thither for sale very long and broad one-edged swords and other ironwork, and a good quantity of gold. These folk are eaters of human flesh, and if the King of Maluco wishes to put to death any person condemned by law they beg for him to be delivered to them to eat as if they were asking for a pig. These islands, from which these and suchlike people come, are called Celebe.

Are these people also Phoenicians? Of course not. The point is that the color of these people's skin means absolutely nothing. There are light skinned and dark skinned inhabitants in East Asia and in the Islands of South East Asia. That is no proof they are descendants of King Solomon's navy.

As for Document #98 Tim is not telling the truth. At no time does it describe the Lequios people as bearded. But he does not know this because he did not even seek to verify the contents of the document. He is on record saying he took ancientPhilippines.blogspot.com and other "local sources" at face value. That is no way to do history. But it is the way to propagate lies.

The God Culture: Obsessive Paranoia Leads Timothy Jay Schwab to Commit Fraud

Timothy Jay Schwab of The God Culture is obsessed with this blog. In fact he is down right paranoid thinking that all I have written about him and his teachings poses an existential threat to his project. On his websites, in his books, and in his videos he refers to this blog sometimes directly and other times in oblique terms never naming me but warning people to stay away from here and accusing me of various crimes. Let's take a look at this obsession of his and see where it has led him. Spoiler alert: it's led him to commit fraud as the title says.

First of all let's look over his biography which is spread across several websites.

https://www.thegodculture.com/our-founder

After extensive prayer and vetting by the large church in which they ministered, they were married in that church by those pastors following Biblical and civil laws. Do not entertain libelous fake news sites and channels on any topic when they are inept in understanding Matthew 5 and Matthew 19 actually affirming the Law of Moses' interpretation of reasons for divorce from Deuteronomy 24 of which this couple has been vetted and approved by appropriate, Biblical authorities including Jesus in His own words.  Anyone who cannot read the word "except" and understand it, is not one who should be listened to on any topic as they clearly have no desire to understand the Bible and when they change the words of Messiah and His meaning He explains, they are frauds. Steer clear.

This little blurb is to be found on Tim's Facebook pageAmazon pageBookofjubilees.org, and TimothySchwab.com. Though he does not name me this is a clear and unambiguous reference to my Biography of Timothy Jay Schwab.  In that biography I revealed that Tim is married to a divorced woman. He is her third husband and she his second wife. Whatever the circumstances of their respective divorces the command of Jesus to not marry a divorced woman is crystal clear.

Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19:8 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mark 10:12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

We need not have a long Bible study here comparing the Old and New Testaments. Whatever Tim and Anna's reasoning for ending their former marriages may be the fact is Jesus prohibits their union because Anna is a divorcéeHe calls such an union adultery. Jesus says Tim and Anna are adulterers.

This is important to know because Tim preaches a legalist doctrine that, "the law is what redeems us." Keeping the law is what engrafts us into Christ. Relationship with God means keeping the law. He has recently begun a new series of videos about the commandments of the New Testament!

https://youtu.be/UJW97hu29Cc

But all the while he is teaching this doctrine about keeping the law he is breaking the law by hypocritically being in an active state of adultery which is condemned by Jesus Christ Himself.

Tim is so hysterical that I revealed this fact he thought it seemed fit to announce to the world that his marriage to Anna is sound, being properly vetted by the Presbyterian Church they formerly attended. Of course it's not like they believe anything that Church teaches like the Trinity or the Five Points so why would they trust the Church's judgement about their marriage? It's just more hypocrisy.

The second reference to me to take note of is also on the God Culture's website.

Their team works on a volunteer basis to assist Timothy and Anna in their aims and they will remain anonymous because they do not desire credit – just the restoration of truth. Besides, they will all allow Timothy to be pictured with libelous clown faces, nasty names, racist Indian headdresses, outright lies, and all of the Cyber Libel and illegal behavior that has followed. They expected ridicule but not from these illiterate children posing as adults whose only intent is to libel, disparage, slander, deceive, marginalize, and ultimately polarize because what they cannot do is disprove. The Philippines will rise against this corruption and throw it out on its ear because Messiah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel said so.

https://www.thegodculture.com/crew

This is a reference to at least two articles I wrote about The God Culture. The first with the clown faces refers to "Flat Earthers and Pharisees From Clown World" where I analyzed what Tim has to say about the flat-earth. He does teach the earth is flat. Just read through what I wrote and fact check it in his videos. He repeatedly brings up the flat earth even in his new books "Solomon's Treasure" and his annotated version of Jubilees. The article ends with this picture:

Tim thinks this photoshop is illegal!  Here is his complaint to Google.

1. Picture of me illegally defaced with a world photoshopped onto my shirt in fraudulent representation. 2. Picture of me illegally defaced with a world pasted over my face. 3. My photo illegally defaced with clown face imposed on top. Harassment, Cyber Libel, fraud and infringing my personal image.

If photoshopping is illegal then the whole internet is going to have to be shut down. Just search for any celebrity or politician and Photoshop. Try Donald Trump and you get hundreds of what Tim claims are illegal images infringing on Trump's personal image. Has he sued anyone for making those images? No. That's because photoshopping is not illegal. It's fair use.

The part about the Indian Headdress concerns an article titled "More Stuff the God Culture Says." In that article I commented on Tim claiming to be part Native American. It's a ridiculous claim seeing as he is clearly a white man. To highlight the absurdity of this claim I included a picture similar to the following which The God Culture calls racist.

What is racist about that? They don't say. I suppose they ought to go after the website whose filter I used to make this photo.

The page that all this is mentioned on is a biography of The God Culture's Research Crew. One would think that the space would be used to tell us all about the team. Who's on it, what are their qualifications, and other relevant information. Instead we get this:

Their members are former ministers mostly with non-denominational mega-churches of varied educational backgrounds and business experience who have watched what they view as the degradation of Yahuah's concept of ekklesia mixed and infused with several occult principles.

What does business experience have to do with The God Culture's research project? What's preferable, a CEO or a Phd who is familiar with ancient texts and who could actually contribute something relevant? In his bio Tim tells us that he is working on a project to "restore Dead Sea Scrolls understanding." Are there actual Dead Sea Scroll scholars on the team? People who are familiar with the ancient languages and cultures of the Middle East? What qualifies this team to work on such a project? Tim should have used this space to tell us more about the team especially their educational attainments and qualifications. But instead he tells us nothing and rants against me. What a waste.

The next reference to this blog is a little more oblique and is on the back cover of Tim's annotated The Book of Jubilees.

Examine the Book of Jubilees with The Torah Test.

Many of us have been programmed with an immediate fort in response to books like Jubilees found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. However, this book never disappeared but remained inspired scripture over the centuries. In the beginning of this book, we will put the Book of Jubilees to the Torah Test. Let us no longer rely on a blogpost from a disingenuous Pharisee to determine scripture but prove it out directly as we are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:21: Prove all things hold fast that which is good. Torah Test inside.

What is "an immediate fort in response?"

Given how much Tim has railed against me in his biography I am certain that this a reference to my article about Jubilees. In that article I laid the text bare and demolished Tim's arguments for it being scripture. Why Tim would waste space mentioning me, or whatever blog he might be referring to, is not clear. My article did not spring from my head all alone as I extensively used VanderKam's commentary. If anyone can completely devastate Tim's arguments for Jubilees it is him. Yet Tim mentions his commentary positively on page 282 of his version of Jubilees as a "Source of Note." It is therefore irrational to call me and my blog disingenuous when it appears Tim approves of the source for all I wrote.

I recently wrote a second article about the Book of Jubilees where I trashed Tim's annotated version and exposed it for being the unscholarly and unhistorical piece of garbage it is. The man literally thinks Noah was referring to FAIRBANKS, ALASKA when he was dividing the Earth among his sons. Two weeks later he published a preview video for a new series he is working on called, "Answers in Jubilees." I suppose that is a clever send-up of Ken Ham's Answers in Genesis. In the description he warns people to stay away from my blog.

Get ready for a New Series, Answers In Jubilees. A 52-Week YouTube exploration of The Book of Jubilees. WARNING: This requires mature believers who are capable of discerning for themselves without being swayed by a Pharisee blog of false paradigms that our published already exposed.
Will he address the criticisms I laid out in my second article about Jubilees? Will he insist that Noah was referring to FAIRBANKS, ALASKA or will he retract that nonsense? (It turns out he gaslighted his audience by denying he ever affirmed that Noah was referring to Fairbanks, Alaska.) Will he discuss some of the bizarre stories like Eve being shut out of the Garden of Eden for 80 days because she was impure after being created? Will he discuss the contradictions between Jubilees and Genesis/Exodus such as in Exodus God Himself kills the firstborn while in Jubilees it is "all the powers of Mastema" also known as Satan? On his note for Jubilees 49:2 Timothy actually says Exodus is inconsistent while Jubilees is consistent!!!

Cf. Ex. 12:27 says Yahuah struck the households and delivered at the same time but that is not consistent. Jubilees is

Is Tim aware there is a book that discusses some of the many contradictions within the text of Jubilees?

The Book of Jubilees: Rewritten Bible, Redaction, Ideology and Theology

Likely he would brush off such a learned tome from an expert on the subject as "pure ignorance from a false paradigm."

What is the reason for including this WARNING? Who is relying on my blog posts to determine for them whether or not Jubilees is scripture? There are many blogs and videos and books that discuss Jubilees. I am not the only one talking about it. Why single me out? Is Tim so stupid that he does not understand that his statement can be equally applied to him or to any other group? What he really means is, "Don't be swayed by all the scholars who have spent their lives studying Jubilees and have different conclusions than us."

The fourth reference to me is in "Solomon's Treasure" on page 137.

The Search for King Solomon's Treasure, pg. 137

We had one question the "belief" of Adrian Horridge yet his "belief" is clear here and Justice Carpio was accurate in his rendering of such. In our Sourcebook we offer that detail for your review.

Unless anyone else has debated with the God Culture concerning what Professor Horridge wrote about the Austronesians then this is a reference to me.  But why refer to that exchange here? It really has no place in the book. I emailed professor Horridge pages 135-137 of Tim's book in order to get his opinion on Tim's use of his work. He called both Justice Carpio and Timothy Schwab's interpretation rubbish.

The fifth reference The God Culture makes about this blog stems from a letter Tim has been sending to everyone who buys books directly from him.

Four years ago, we set out to educate especially the Philippines restoring their history and most importantly the understanding of prophecy. We realize this revelation sets off major fire alarms among the colonialists and all who have been trained to oppose the rising of the Philippines. Of course, they cannot overcome the words of Messiah and they will fail. You may have noticed however, that our YouTube Channel has been greatly attacked by YouTube itself refusing to notify subscriber which has been reported to them many times and never have we received even an acknowledgment from YouTube. In time we will address this even in court if needed. Facebook is guilty of the same in which we have well documented. Google is also complicit even placing a Facebook post 8 months old with no likes on a site with 80 followers above over four websites with our own bio newly released of many thousands of views and even our own Facebook posts with over 500 likes, hundreds of comments, thousands of engagements and thousands of views on the same. That is not natural nor is there a remote possibility for any algorithm to do such yet they do.

That is a reference to my back-up Facebook page Philippinesfails. If you Google "Timothy Jay Schwab Philippines" it is actually the third hit. "Timothy Schwab Philippines" brings it up a slot to number two. The God Culture wrote a long missive against me on their Facebook page which contains the following:

He uses our name and logo to attempt to get views because we have a real following and he manipulates Google even in fraud.

In fact, he has to fraud Google to come up #2, 3 and 4 in a search under Tim's name. Imagine an international author releasing 3 books with bios on Amazon Author Central, Author's Den and other very credible sources along with 4 credible websites with credible bios for Tim and yet this idiot's 9-month old FB post with 1 like and no comments is preferred by Google as #2, then his blog and then, #4 his tweet to 21 people saying nothing. Whomever idiot he has inside Google is making Google look like a fool and exposing them to serious consequences.

That entire post is full of ignorant and even libelous claims against me. None of what they write about me is true and the things they get close to being true are still false especially the claim that I stole Tim's Social Security number which  may or may not be 21*-6*-****. As if I could possibly do such a thing as steal his SSN. All the information I have gathered about Timothy Jay Schwab is derived from public sources available online. There is quite a lot out there of which he is most certainly unaware.

The most bizarre claim they make is that I am both conspiring with and defrauding Google to get my page up in the rankings. Of course they never lay bare the nature of this fraud. Instead they fling the accusation and thus libel me. I am most certainly not defrauding Google nor do I have an inside man in Google nor am I a Communist which they also allege. Do they even know what Communism is? A typical Communist tactic is to accuse your opponent of that which you are guilty. In this case that is exactly what Timothy Jay Schwab and his second wife Anna Rose Gacayan Zamoranos are doing. It is they who are defrauding Google to get their webpages up in the rankings.

Just take a look at their websites and see for yourself.

ANSWERS IN JUBILEES 52 Week Study Timothy Schwab Philippines Biography PhilippinesFails PhilippineFails Ophirian Heritage Butch Belgica

It is interesting that this set of hidden text has "Butch Belgica." Is Tim trying to divert traffic from Butch's website? That would be pretty rude seeing as Butch wrote the "Foreward" to Tim's book.

The only way to see it is to right click on the picture and select "inspect element." Even though the user cannot see the hidden text on these three pages Google can and they don't like it. In fact it is a classic tactic to manipulate search engines in order push your website to the top. It is nothing more or less than spam and placing hidden text on your website could result in penalties from Google.

https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/hidden-text-links

Hiding text or links in your content to manipulate Google's search rankings can be seen as deceptive and is a violation of Google's Webmaster Guidelines. Text (such as excessive keywords) can be hidden in several ways, including:

  • Using white text on a white background
  • Locating text behind an image

What can we learn from all this? What we learn is Timothy Jay Schwab and the God Culture are obsessive and paranoid about this blog. So much so that now they have engaged in fraud by using hidden text in an attempt to redirect Google searches to their webpage. They are literally doing what they have accused me of doing. As a result it is possible their websites could go down in the rankings. Let's not forget about Bing, Yahoo, Duck Duck Go, and other search engines. Am I defrauding them too?

Bing

Duckduckgo

Yahoo

Is that a conspiracy or is it the algorithm? Tim knows it's the algorithm and that's why he's attempting to manipulate it. But he better watch out. Those search engines could also penalize The God Culture's websites for using hidden text and push them down in the rankings.

This is all because they are scared that someone has tested them and shown everything they teach to be outright lies.  It's too bad that I appear to be the only one taking Timothy Jay Schwab and the God Culture seriously by fact checking their claims. It's really amazing how many people have been deceived by this guy but it should not be so surprising. After all there are two million members of Iglesia Ni Cristo.
